X-Gen College of Visual Art offers an exclusive 4 years degree course - B.V.A. or Bachelor in Visual Art. It is an undergraduate Fine Arts program recognized by UGC (University Grants Commission) affiliated to “Utkal University of Culture”. The Bachelor in Visual Arts is a four-year full-time degree course. In this Program, X-Gen College of Visual Art offers unique opportunities to investigate an array of courses in art History, Animation, Interactive forms, Graphic Design, Photography, Video, Print Media, and Foundation. The course is available for 8 Semesters. You may choose a specialization in Animation, Painting, Photo Media, Screen Arts, Sculpture (including ceramics and glass), Print media, or Jewelry Design. You may also complete a second major in Critical Studies. Each semester is underpinned by the teaching of rigorous theory and critical skills.
The Course is suitable to prepare the next generation of contemporary artists and creative thinkers for professional practice. This idea led, the practical program will enable you to explore your ideas through a range of media including Animation, Visual Effects, Painting, Sculpture, and Digital Print, installation, video, installation, performance, community engagement and social practice, sound art, book works or any hybrid practices forged by you personally.
The Course is beneficial to equip you with the conceptual and technical skills required to work as a contemporary artist or to establish an art, media, or design practice. They will also be well-qualified to work in a wide range of other culture-related fields, including art education and administration, website, interactive design, and publishing. Candidates will be readily equipped with skills appropriate to the expanding arts industries in fields including Animation, Visual Effects, Illustration, Design, Video, Advertising, Film production, Education, and community activity. The course will also equip you to pursue an independent studio career working towards exhibitions in commercial galleries and publicly run art spaces.

Start Early Is it the Right Career for Me?
There are no special subjects that are needed to be studied at this level. But aptitude in sketching, drawing and a deep interest in computers is always considered essential to gain entry into the animation industry. It would be very appropriate to study fine arts at the college level and Bachelor's in Fine Arts is an ideal way to give a career in animation a big push. What Should Be The Pay Package?
Animation is a satisfying and lucrative profession and is attracting youngsters in droves towards it.
